Concrete pumping across Southern Tasmania

Concrete pumped, placed and finished properly.

Rob’s based in Wattle Grove running concrete pumping, concreting and excavation across the Huon Valley, Hobart and surrounding areas. Got the 17m and 32m boom on the truck — tight access, big pours, awkward sites — the concrete gets where it needs to go.

What we do

Pumping, concreting and excavation — whatever the job needs.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a big slab, a tight driveway or a site that needs ground work before the truck turns up — the setup is what makes the job run clean.

Concrete Pumping

When the mixer can't get close enough or the pour's too far from the road, the pump gets it there. Works around sheds, over fences, down slopes — anywhere a chute won't reach.

Large Pours and Slabs

Big slabs go pear-shaped when the concrete stops flowing. Pumping keeps it moving, crew stays out front and the slab goes down in one clean run — day or night.

Driveways and Residential Concrete

Curved entries, straight runs, paths around the house. Pump hose gets the concrete right to the form — no barrow work, clean edges and a broom finish built to last.

Custom and Specialty Finishes

Curved work, organic shapes, brick edging, waterfeature surrounds. Not every job is a straight rectangle — if it needs something more considered, that's what gets delivered.

Shed Slabs and Yard Pads

Shed footings, garage slabs, yard pads, hardstands. Formwork set level, base compacted, concrete placed and finished — job ready for the shed to go up.

Tight Access Sites

Down a side passage, between walls, under a low awning. Two workers in a space where a barrow can barely turn — the hose gets the concrete there and it still goes down clean.

17m and 32m boom

Get concrete where it needs to go.

A pump truck’s not about fancy — it’s about getting the concrete where it needs to go without holding everyone up. Page’s runs 17m and 32m boom depending on the site, whether it’s a tight residential job or a bigger commercial slab.

01

Reach without the run

Boom swings out over fences, around buildings and down slopes — anywhere a chute wouldn't get near. Truck parks up, boom goes out, done.

02

Consistent flow on the slab

Pump keeps the concrete rolling at a steady rate so the crew can stay out front and work ahead instead of standing around waiting on the mixer.

03

Suits bigger pours

On bigger slabs the pump keeps pace — concrete doesn't get away from the crew and the slab goes down in one clean run from go to whoa.

What do you need done?

What does the job look like?

Pick the one that fits. Some jobs just need concrete. Some need the ground sorted first. Some need a pump because the access makes anything else too hard.

Got a pour coming up?

Ring or text some photos through and have a yarn about the access, site and what you need poured.

Access and prep

The access gets sorted before the truck is booked.

Most questions that come in are about access — can the truck get in, where does it park, how far does the concrete need to travel. Sort that out early and everything else falls into place.

Where can the truck sit?

Usually the first thing to sort out. Once you know where the truck can sit, the rest of the setup works out from there.

Photos of the pour area

A couple of photos of the slab, driveway or access does more than any description. Chuck them through to 0419 590 455.

Ground prep and levels

If the site's not ready for concrete, excavation sorts the levels and base first — before the truck's even booked.

How it works

From the first call to concrete on the ground.

Most quotes are sorted on the phone. Ring, text a photo of the access, or email what’s needed — the rest follows from there.

Call or text photos through

Ring Rob on 0419 590 455, chuck through a couple of shots of the access and pour area, or email pagesconcrete@gmail.com. A photo saves a lot of back and forth.

02

Work out what the site needs

Where the truck can sit, how far the concrete needs to travel, what the levels are like. Sorted on the phone — most jobs don't need a site visit.

03

Sort out any ground work first

If the site needs excavation or base prep first, that gets factored in and sorted before the concrete truck's even booked.

04

Concrete goes in, finished properly

Pump on, concrete placed at the right rate, crew works it. Slab, driveway, path, exposed finish — done to suit the job.

What helps with a quote

Doesn’t need to be detailed — a few photos and a rough idea of the job is usually enough.
